BBQ Cheeseburger

Juicy grilled cheeseburgers for a backyard BBQ

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ lbs Ground beef 80/20 is best
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp Burger rub use your favorite
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce optional
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese
  • 4 buns Brioche, wheat, or your favorite
Toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, mustard, mayo, BBQ sauce—whatever feels right.

  • 1 grill

Method
 

  1. Preheat your grill (or grill pan) to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, gently mix the ground beef with burger rub or garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire. Form into 4 loose patties—don’t overwork the meat.
  3. Grill for 4–5 minutes per side. Add cheese in the last minute to melt.
  4. Toast the buns for extra flavor.
  5. Assemble your burger with your favorite toppings and eat warm.
