Mini Quiches

These mini quiches are perfect for tea time or any moment you want a warm, comforting bite. Soft, custardy, and filled with your favorite ingredients, they’re easy to make and feel special without fuss.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet puff pastry or 6–8 pre-made mini tart shells
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk or cream
  • ½ cup shredded cheese cheddar, gruyère, or your favorite
  • ¼ cup diced fillings: ham spinach, mushrooms, or any seasonal vegetables
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: fresh herbs like parsley or chives

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place puff pastry or tart shells on a baking tray.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk (or cream), cheese, salt, and pepper.
  4. Fold in your chosen fillings.
  5. Pour the mixture evenly into the shells, filling them almost to the top.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the custard is set and tops are lightly golden.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.

Notes

Make ahead – Mini quiches can be baked in advance and reheated gently in the oven before serving. Perfect for hosting or a quiet tea at home.
Customize your fillings – Use whatever you have on hand. Spinach and feta, mushroom and gruyère, or ham and cheddar are all delightful.
