- In a shallow bowl, whisk together the pumpkin puree, eggs, milk, vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat and melt a little butter or oil.
- Dip each slice of bread into the pumpkin mixture, making sure it’s fully coated.
- Cook each slice for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and slightly crisp.
- Serve warm with maple syrup, a sprinkle of powdered sugar, or your favorite fresh fruit.
