Big brown eyes tell a story,
One that is recognized in all its glory.
They hold secrets, mystery, light,
A sweet soul that’s always bright.

A gentle companion you have been,
Both throughout and deep within.
Panting through the happy days,
The purest joy in so many ways.

Your cold black snout is my delight,
I like to kiss it all through the night.
Your dark tan fur, a beauty to behold,
A heart of warmth, loyal and bold.

Through walks, cuddles, and sleepy eyes,
You’ve taught me love that never dies.
A guardian, a friend, my gentle guide,
Forever and always, right by my side.

When the world feels too heavy to bear,
You’re the calm that fills the air.
No words needed, just your gaze,
A steady comfort through life’s maze.

So here’s to you, my faithful friend,
My heart you’ve healed, time and again.
Your big brown eyes will always see,
The deepest love that lives in me.
