Navigating the ADHD Mind: Creativity Amidst Chaos
A spark ignites, then slips away,
Thoughts racing, night and day.
A whirlwind of ideas, free and fast,
Fleeting moments that never last.
The world is loud, it’s hard to focus,
Chasing echoes that never seem to notice.
A thousand things are calling me,
But still, I drift in uncertainty.
My mind is tangled, hard to steer,
Thoughts and plans just disappear.
I reach for one, but it slips through,
Like trying to hold on to morning dew.
Distraction’s rhythm, constant and wild,
I chase it down, but I’m always beguiled.
I grasp for answers, but they slip away,
Like whispers in the breeze of the day.
But there’s a fire that won’t be tamed,
A light that shines, though unclaimed.
For though I wander, always in flight,
I find my power in the endless night.
Creativity flows, untamed, unbound,
In chaos, my strength is found.
Though focus fades, I still persist,
Turning scattered thoughts into a twist.
So though my mind may spin and stray,
I’ll ride the storm and find my way.
ADHD, you’re part of me,
A wild force that sets me free.
